Meet Anika Hanisch

I am a ghostwriter, coauthor, manuscript editor, and author coach.  I help people write books—whether I write for them or help them become stronger writers themselves.  I’ve lived off my own writing for over 20 years and love sharing course-altering tips.  Today I work primarily as a natural health ghostwriter, as well as a book coach and line editor for fiction and memoir authors.  My latest adventures have included:

She helped me at every stage of the process including outline, organization, content development, editing, referencing, and so much more.  Anika single-handedly shaped and transformed this book into so much more then I could have ever imagined.”

– Dr. Steven Saltzman; Author Dancing with Darwin and Founder Vitality7 Institute

I am blown away. Truly. This is so good. I am so proud of my colleagues and, Anika, for the way you have stitched this together in the most amazing flow. Thank You! This book is going to change lives.”

– Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO; Author and International Speaker, DrNasha.com

“All feedback from Anika, good or bad, has a purpose and she backs it up with detailed explanations. That is why she is my primary editor and writing coach for all my writing projects.”

– Troy Kechely; Book Editing Client; Author of Stranger’s Dance and Lost Horse Park

“Anika’s work and communication is clear, helpful, professional, and constructive. She’s able to work deeply into the details of a text while still holding the overall flow and development of an entire manuscript. She is easy to work with and clearly in command of the co-author and editing process.”

– Adam Blanning, MD; Denver Center for Anthroposophic Therapies

“Anika delivers constructive criticism that is packed with knowledge yet devoid of the discomfort that can sometimes come from having your work reviewed. This gentle approach to revision really helped me to open up
and create a valuable working relationship with her over the years. Working with her has been a huge boost to my creativity!”

– Nicole C; Freelance Writer; Seattle, Washington

“…artfully combines an unflinchingly honest account of Yearman’s travails with beautifully poetic descriptions…  An affecting portrayal of youthfulness stained by war.”

“Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader.
Not the fact that it is raining, but the feeling of being rained upon.”
